The Masroor Rock Cut Temple is an awe-inspiring 8th-century Hindu temple complex in the Kangra Valley, Dharmashala, India. It is estimated to have been constructed back in 776 AD by the Pandava Kings. The complex was built out of solid sandstone blocks, with the temple walls and columns having been carved out of the monolithic hillside, making it a unique masterpiece of Rock-Cut architecture.The temple complex consists of 15 monolithic temples, with the largest being shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. The other shrines in the complex depict different Hindu deities like Devas, Asuras, Brahmana and Vishnu, along with Gods and Goddesses of other religions such as Buddhism and Jainism. The entrance to the complex is adorned with intricately carved images of Nāga or cobras and river goddesses.The temple walls contain sculptures from different eras, including those of the Pandavas from the Mahabharata, scenes from the Ramayana, a chariot drawn by elephants, as well as those depicting various Hindu deities.

There are also detailed images of bodhisattvas, depicting scenes from the Jataka Tales.The temple is an example of religious harmony, as there are many carved images belonging to different sects of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.
