The Se Cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in North Goa, India and is known for its unique Portuguese-style architecture and religious importance. A significant feature of the cathedral is its west-facing facade, which is bordered by two bell towers, each containing four bells. The 120-meter long and 45-meter wide church features a plain exterior, adorned only with a large statue of St. Catherine of Alexandria atop its western facade and several smaller figures decorating its sides. Inside the cathedral, the main nave is flanked by two aisles on either side, with four chapels situated on one wall.The Se Cathedral is of significant importance to Christianity in India – it is the largest church in the state of Goa and is home to various relics, including the famous Sacred Cross. It also houses a large collection of paintings, statues and carvings depicting historical figures from Christian mythology.The floor of the Se Cathedral is tiled with Portuguese tiles, and the walls are decorated with murals depicting various Christian stories. On the wall to the left of the altar is a magnificent painting of Christ being anointed by the Virgin Mary.
