By Air: The nearest airport is Bhuntar Airport near Kullu, from where one can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Spiti. However, the road journey can take a full day or more, depending on the starting point.
By Railway: The closest railway station is Shimla, connected via the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla railway. From Shimla, one can continue by road.
