Bryant Park in Kodaikanal is a serene and well-maintained botanical garden located in the upper palani hills of Kodaikanal town, featuring unique plant species of both native and exotic varieties. Covering an area of ​​approximately 10 acres, the park was named after Caleb Bryant who served as the first Collector of the district. The park is divided into two main sections: the upper section houses an impressive array of flowers and other ornamental plants, while the lower section features a breathtaking variety of different trees and shrubs from around the world. Visitors of Bryant Park can rest and relax amidst the idyllic setting of the lush green gardens, where a variety of selected trees and shrubs grown have been carefully nurtured across the park for over 150 years. This includes trees like Magnolias, Copperpod, Tiger Flower, Clove, and Jacarandas as well as shrubs of Jasmines, Chrysanthemums, Heliconias, and more. The park also boasts several Greenhouses where a wide range of seasonal and tropical plants can be found in full bloom.The park also houses a plethora of birds, entomology, and butterfly species, making it a popular destination for nature lovers.
